Loyola Community Welfare Fund (LCWF)
The parishioners of St. Ignatius Loyola felt that any person in the parish in need should be helped for medical or educational purposes. It was decided to create a fund from just 1% of the gross income of each earning member of every family. The fund was launched in August 2006 and named Loyola Community Welfare Fund.
The fund is allocated for utilization as under:
- 65% for medical aid and educational scholarships,
- 20% for Church maintenance and parish related activities and 15%
- for the parish reserve fund for major repairs required in the long run.
A scheme to provide groceries to deserving parishioners was launched on 3rd December 2009.
